Intro to Summer Camp

Every day is full of excitement and fun! At summer camp, you’ll have the opportunity to form lifelong friendships, engage in a wide variety of daily activities and special events, sing, dance, and be goofy alongside fellow campers and volunteers. You will make memories that will last a lifetime! 

We take pride in our summer camp being “the best week of the year.” For our campers, it’s a week of wonderment, joy, connection, and complete acceptance. For our volunteers, it’s a week of soul-searching, friendship, and purposeful service to others. Regardless of your role, it’s just a ton of fun. 

Camp Fatima of NJ offers a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio to ensure that everyone gets the individualized, focused support they need. We also have a large number of staff volunteers who offer ongoing support and engage with campers and counselors throughout each day.

There is a term at Camp Fatima that speaks to the heart of our programs: Fatimagic. It’s the essence of open acceptance and love for everyone, regardless of differences in ability and it’s the collective joy that comes from sharing your time with good-humored, hard-working, and endlessly kind people. 

You won’t want to miss the summer program, as it’s sure to be the best and most meaningful week of your year! 

Intro to Adult Weekend

Our seasonal Adult Weekend programs are the perfect opportunity for adult campers and volunteers to experience tremendous fun and Fatimagic in a relaxed, people-focused environment. During the Fall and Spring, we come together to form new friendships and engage in a variety of fun, easy-going activities. These activity options are created to suit all interests and abilities, including options for singing and dancing, games, sports, performances, hangouts, and more! 

A key line in our camp song asks, “Is there anything that we can do for you?”. This question speaks to our volunteers’ ongoing commitment to helping others and finding small ways to make the world a kinder, more accepting place. At our Adult Weekends, campers and volunteers assist each other as a whole group, so everyone receives support and has an opportunity to connect with everyone involved.

Intro to Camp Fatima Company

Places, everyone, it’s show time!! Camp Fatima Company is Camp Fatima’s live theater overnight camp for individuals with developmental disabilities, culminating in a performance the following day.

This program will feature many aspects of our Adult Weekend Programs with a complete focus on staging a condensed musical. The weekend will bring campers and volunteers of many talents together to put on a spectacular production.
