 Year-Round

As you know, Camp Fatima of New Jersey exists solely on the dedication of its volunteers and the generosity of its donors to operate and continue to provide summer camp and adult weekends and no cost to our campers and their families. There are a variety of ways you can give back to Camp year-round:

Direct Donations

There are several ways to send a tax-deductible donation directly to Camp Fatima of New Jersey:

  1. Through our PayPal account (donation tab on the homepage)
  2. We are also currently on Venmo @CampFatimaofNewJersey
  3. You can also send a check donation to:  Camp Fatima NJ, P.O. Box 654, Harrison, NJ 07029

Additionally, you may want to check with your employer, as they may offer donation matching.

Facebook Fundraisers

Facebook fundraisers

Facebook fundraisers are an easy way to crowd-source donations for causes you care about. Many people use occasions like birthdays to set up fundraisers, but you can set them up at any time. Creating a Facebook Fundraiser:

  1. Click Fundraisers (left hand menu of website, or accessible through the menu in the Facebook app)
  2. Click Raise Money (left hand side of website, or under Manage tab in Facebook app)
  3. Select Non-Profit: Camp Fatima of New Jersey Inc
  4. Fill in fundraiser details, including selecting photo, goal, end date, etc.
  5. Click Create

Once your fundraiser is done, there is nothing more that you should need to do, as payouts are processed by Facebook.

Amazon Smile

Amazon Smile is a service provided by Amazon where you can donate to organizations of your choice when you shop on Amazon, at no additional cost to you. For each qualifying purchase, Amazon will donate a portion of your purchase price to your selected organization. Setting it up is easy:

  1. Visit smile.amazon.com
  2. If you have an Amazon account you can log in using those credentials, or set up a new Amazon account
  3. You’ll then be prompted to search for and select your organization: Camp Fatima of New Jersey Inc
  4. That’s it! Bookmark smile.amazon.com so you’ll be sure to contribute every time you shop.

Amazon Smile isn’t just for Giving Tuesday – use it all year round! Once it’s set up on your account, you don’t need to do anything (except shop using smile.amazon.com that is). You can also see how much you’ve contributed by viewing your account. Under the search bar, hover over the charity you’re supporting and click Your Amazon Smile Impact.

Volunteering

The most active way to give back to Camp Fatima of NJ is to spend time volunteering at our summer camp sessions or adult weekend sessions.
