On Saturday, June 5th, Camp Fatima had two entrants in the Human Horse Races at Monmouth Park Racetrack. In the Under 50 sprint, Too Hot to Trot! (Rayven Lucas) charged down the 1/16th of a mile course, and in the Over 50 race, Don’t Stop B Livin (Nick Landy) blistered the track.
The Human Horse Race at Monmouth Park Racetrack is an annual fundraiser in association with the New Jersey Irish Festival. Although the Festival was postponed this year, the Belmar Chapter of the Friendly Sons of Shillelagh continued the race tradition and selected Camp Fatima as one of two beneficiaries of the proceeds from the event.
